Join us for the N Street Village 6th Annual Luncheon on Wednesday, June 6th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the National Press Club, Washington D.C. Purchase your tickets today! All participants are entered to win a trip for 2 to St. Kitts*!
The Annual Luncheon was created to raise awareness of issues related to women’s homelessness, poverty, and health. Last year, we welcomed over 200 supporters – including local business and government leaders – to the National Press Club to learn about and to celebrate the positive changes we can make together in the lives of women.
This year’s featured Annual Luncheon speaker is Gloria Mayfield Banks, who will be introduced by Dr. Johnnetta Cole. Ms. Banks defied dyslexia to earn a college degree and a Harvard MBA, and left an abusive marriage and a corporate career at IBM to become Mary Kay, Inc.’s number one African American Sales Director in the world. Like the women at N Street Village, Ms. Banks knows that it takes an empowering community to overcome the odds and achieve your personal best. We will also present our Community Ally Award to the Washington, D.C. Chapter of The Links, Incorporated for their strong leadership and support of the community.
