Throughout the year, N Street Village hosts a number of special events to engage members of the community, share our mission, and raise critical funds for the women who benefit from our services. We do this with the incredible support of our corporate sponsors, who help us extend our reach far and wide.

Annual Gala and Auction

Each March, we welcome nearly 900 guests to The N Street Village Annual Gala and Auction, our largest annual fundraiser honoring incredible Village leaders and celebrating the immense generosity of our community.  The highlight of the evening is presenting the Erna and John Steinbruck Award to three N Street Village residents whose leadership, persistence, and determination reflect that of Erna and John, co-founders of N Street Village. Year over year, we have been honored to share the evening with important local and national leaders.

Host A Fundraiser

Want to make an impact your way? Third-party fundraising events are a fun and meaningful way to support N Street Village by rallying your friends, family, coworkers, or community around a cause that matters. Whether it’s a birthday brunch, yoga class, happy hour, or book club, your creativity can help raise critical funds for women experiencing homelessness in D.C. Hosting your own event is a great way to spread awareness while doing good—on your terms.

To get started, please fill out our Third-Party Fundraiser Interest Form. Before planning your event, we also ask that you review our Indemnification & Brand Use Guidelines below to ensure alignment with our mission and values.

Indemnification Clause

The Organizer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless N Street Village, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with the Organizer’s event, including but not limited to any acts or omissions of the Organizer, its employees, volunteers, contractors, or agents, and any claims related to personal injury, property damage, or violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right. 

The Organizer acknowledges that N Street Village is not responsible for the promotion, operation, or execution of the third-party event and that all risks associated with the event are the sole responsibility of the Organizer. 

Additionally, the Organizer agrees that they may not use the name, logo, likeness, or implied affiliation of N Street Village without prior written consent. N Street Village reserves the right to deny association with any third-party event, group, or individual whose mission, values, or actions conflict with the Village’s own values, vision, or public reputation, as determined at the sole discretion of N Street Village.
