It’s time to celebrate the amazing SHEROs who have transformed their lives because of supporters like you.
Join us on Saturday, October 19 and release your inner SHERO to ensure N Street Village has the support to transform the lives of women experiencing homelessness in Washington, D.C. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
This year, SHERO Community Day will feature the iconic SHERO walk, as well as music, games, and activities on N Street until noon.
We’ll kick off the walk at our Flagship location at 1333 N Street N.W., with brief remarks from our CEO Portia Robertson Migas and line-dancing starting at 9 a.m.
In the weeks leading up to the event, we need your support. We have set a goal to raise $75,000 to ensure our clients continue to receive supportive housing, meals, access to mental and physical health services, and more. Become a 2024 SHERO by creating a fundraising page and activating your networks to support the thousands of women who have walked through our doors and changed their lives.
